Doc said to try the Paleo Diet - there's an app for that... I like the idea of only exercising with moderation. Too much exercise can lead to heart failure.

I have some bacon sizzling in the pan as I look at your photos. I have the view and the smell. Soon I will have the taste.

Here is a slab of bacon from our own hog. Weighed close to 500 lbs before we got her butchered.

Hoo boy, more memories! When I was a kid, we occasionally raised a pig and butchered in the fall. I wasn't allowed near the action for some reason, but I remember the enormous crock full of sausage patties preserved in the rendered fat. Breakfast? Go into the cool pantry and dig out a few!

I don't remember bacon, though. How could you make sausage and not make bacon?

I know what ya mean. So much talk - so little to back it up. You'd think RVers had cornered the market on bacon to hear em talk. Ask for pictures - proof of bacon - ya get crickets...
