I likes dat bacon!

What a great source of the protein, which is what I need... And with the poblano peppers I even get my greens, and cream cheese must have a quality or two...

That is my excuse and it is sticking to me... I think that is how it goes anyway...

Pan fry low and slow is how my dad taught me, but now I've learned to bake it, and much prefer that method. (Not to try changing anyone else's mind, just sayin'!) The strips stay flat with no effort on my part. Gotta love that!

BTW, cj...: I figured out I have to get the camera ready before I ever turn the burner on if I need pics for proof. And then remember to use it!

You may pronounce "jalapeņos" as "hal-a-penoes" in TX, but in NC, we know them as "ja-lap-enoes", and if you mispronounce it you will hear something like, "Youins ain't from round here, is ya"....

Just heard on the local CBS channel that last year there was 1.1 billion servings of BACON served. Not sure of what the serving size is. That is a 6% increase from the year before.

GO BACON!! OOH OOH.... GO BACON!! OOH OOH.......
