We've been down here since Dec 1st. I can already drive to 4 Border Patrol offices including 1 that looks like a penitentiary. I have seen more border patrol SUVs - 4 wheelers and cars than you have bacon. Believe me - they are on the job down here.

If you really want to try something special try finding some Berkshire Bacon. It ain't cheap but OMG!
DW says we should raise some Berkshire hogs.

$12.50 / lb. Isn't that bad if it is as your DW says... and easily cheaper than "growing your own". Lol.

OMG you are so right that BACON makes anything better. I love the stuff! I will have to try the cabbage BACON combination. How long do you cook it on the grill?
Yummy! Lynne

You are 100% correct oh wise one. And how do you know it's done. At about 5 minutes your turn it to one side. Hmm still firm. About 5 minutes later turn it to the other side. Hmm getting softer. Turn to the third side (it is a wedge)... that and that will about be it...

Possum,
My husband is fabulous with grilling so I think if we ever get together, there will be good eats for all.
Love BACON! Lynne
