When we are camping the DW will fry up some Nueske's Applewood Smoked Bacon and turn the exhaust fan on high. I usually come running. Others comment on how good the smell is.
Check out Nueske's in Wittenberg, WI. They do ship all over and worth it!!

I start worrying when our supply gets down to 2#. Time to make a trip.

Well, the wife cooked the bacon and I cooked the eggs. Only problem was by the time I got the camera out there was nothing to take a picture of... The little pieces they were left were tasty though. Better luck next time I guess.

So here's the trick. When you think bacon... get out the camera. Lol...

Love Bacon
Tried Sam's Apple-smoked last night with French toast. I was a little worried because there was blood in the package never seen that before but it was real good. Another excellent bacon is Nuskies(sp)
We cook it in the oven,
yea take a cookie sheet and a rack set the oven to 425 and cook it 8 minutes then take out turn and another 5-6 minutes. Its the best crispy/non greasy bacon I've every had and the stove top isn't covered in bacon grease.

Hey Steve and Annie,
I loved Sioux Falls, I drove for MCT back in the mid eighties out of there. Is Ranchlers(sp) Truck Stop still in operation? I plan on heading that way this spring.
Thanks,
Tim

Mornin'... Believe it or not... We have been to Sioux Falls once.... lol. I retired 10/17/14. We flew there 10/27 and back to DFW 10/29 as newly minted South Dakotans with a residence the size of a shoebox at Dakota Post. We really liked what we saw and will visit there in June. Will definitely look for the Truck Stop. The place has a great feel to it and the surrounding area is really nice. It's a little on the cold side this time of year though.

Maybe we'll see ya there!

That is funny.
The Truck stop has/had great food and a truck wash. Just off the hwy at the first exit after entering SD on 90.

BACON is always my first breakfast food desire! Never can go wrong with it! Like French toast with it, eggs, and pancakes. Sometimes just toast and some fruit.

Hope you all get some bacon today what ever brand you like, Lynne

A rose or cupcake of another color will still smell like BACON
