Nice going you two.

Everyone knows I have baconitis eatitallis and you got my bacon craving going which is not bad news.

The bad news is I can't find any bacon on the premises and because of a license lose fear my vehicle is no where near me at the moment to go acquire more new bacon.

What joy in finding this thread. Finally someone with the same need to cook and eat BACON! I have had BACON in England and it is thick and tasty and wonderful. Very similar to BACON I had in Mexico when visiting down there.

I would post a picture of my BACON but it was eaten this morning before I found this thread. I will control my urges next cooking so I can get a pic and when I get back to Nixon's Meats where we buy our BACON, I will take pictures of it in the cooler. Lovely BACON there! Oh heck, all their meat is great!

I really appreciate your addiction as it is also mine and I make no excuses or apologies for it. I Love that I am addicted to BACON! I work in Cardiology and I figure if it costs me a few years it is worth it to eat BACON!

My name is Lynne and I am an addict!
Hey Lynne - today I see this in your profile - the other day I didn't... may have been something with my phone...

flaggship1,

So you are a BACON lover too? Go figure, why wouldn't anyone be. Have you ever had cinnamon rolls with BACON on top, can you say YUM!

Also, cook a slice of BACON, pour pancake batter length wise on a pan, insert Bacon and a little more batter on top and dip in syrup! Nirvana!

Glad it showed in profile, I couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong. Sometimes happen with these things. I am on a laptop whenever on here as I don't use the pc at work for anything but work. No time.

Enjoy your BACON, Lynne

Ah yes, but I had Scrapple for breakfast today. A refreshing change up to eggs and Bacon.

Hey. Where's the Bacon

Scrapple is truly an acquired taste that I tried to acquire when I moved from MN to PA in 1987.
Bless those that can eat and enjoy scrapple. I will take bacon.

Scrapple is what's left over after all of the edible parts of the pig are used.

My grand kids were born in PA. They are 21 and 17. Many forms of pig are snarfed, but no scrapple.
No offense intended to scrapple lovers.
They also do not like ludefisk. No offense intended to all Nordic ludefisk lovers going back to long before Leif Erickson.

Yeah, but Scrapple is really tasty. You just can't think about what you are eating.

Many moons ago at a restaurant quite near the Strausburg Railroad Station we had breakfast and something that looked like a greasy wheatabix was on my plate with eggs and stuff. I ate it but figured that the serving was sufficient for one lifetime. Did,t know what it was called.

Has anyone ever stayed at the Red caboose Motel there besides me?

It should be outlawed. Had it once and that will last a lifetime. No offense either.

I've had snake, shark, and bison. Tried Haggis once and don't need to go there again. Don't smash anyone else's likes but not going there with me. Don't think scrapple will be on my list either.

Now BACON, will always be a staple in this house. Bacon lettuce sandwich, bacon in my eggs, on my pancake, whatever bacon makes it better.

Hope you all had a great day! Lynne
