Hey. Where's the Bacon

OK - the price of bacon has gone way up due to supply shortage resulting from a hog disease this year. Consequently, I have had to have mine sliced thinner and buy a little less at a time. Also, I am watching for sales and searching for bargains.

It occurred to me - you folks may have some pictures to share - and that might help me with my craving. Here is today's thin cut, Applewood smoked... not as lean as it could be - but it ain't no turkey bacon either...

Got called a 'Whiner', last weekend over paper thin bacon .
Text wife before she left the house to meet me at campsite, to tell her to remember and bring bacon! She replies "There's bacon in MH fridge". I reply, "That's too thin for me to consider as bacon".

It is the duct tape of food

It is a garnish for your roasted Little Jim cillis. In this example it is Hill Billy Bacon!👌

Alright Ladies & Gentlemen, LISTEN UP!

"THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS, TOO MUCH BACON"!

If the receipt says a cup, They Meant A POUND!

If the receipt calls for crumbled BACON sprinkled on top, "THEY MEANT COOK 5 POUNDS", then grab two or three BIG handfuls for sprinkling on the casserole, serve the rest on the side as a before dinner snack.

As the wise Ole Hen once said, "Spare The Egg, And Go Whole Hog!!!, OR GET OUT OF THE HEN HOUSE"!

This is a direct quote from P.E.T.A.
PEOPLE FOR THE EATING OF TASTY ANIMALS.

PS: Can I Get Four Eggs Over Easy with that slab of "BACON"?

PSS: Anyone Seen My Lipitor?
