Hi from pa0gri in Alaska
Got my Tioga from the storeage place just fine (no critter damage).
Then got 6 new Michelin 225/75R16 M/S tires under it and went up more north.
The Dalton did some damage as the gray tank straps (3) broke and the tank was hanging lose under the rear end. With the 6ton hydraulic and a big rock I got it in place again and a 24 feet strap completed the fix.
Yes, there are some good stretches (especialy near coldfood) and stretces with wet mud (mud waterfall on rear window) and some rocky stretches (what is not loose detection).
Trailer and RV Supply in Anchorage had new band iron to make new straps (and a LOT more stuff). While repairing I found that also one of the black tank straps snapped.
It proves again that you have to be well prepaired to go "up North".
The weather is fine, had a great view of Denali and saw lots of wild life.
Gas prices varied from $4.03 to $5.62 (yucon river crossing).
Next weekend with frends to Seward.
Greetings, Gerard.
