Might be, but around here we don't have Murphy's either.

I filled up at the J in Hermosa, SD. The station was not in the RV Directory. This station is in the middle of nowhere. I've never seen a J in a remote location. The pump start process worked. To my surprise, I received the cash price and discount using the truck pumps and my AMEX card. I let the store manager know their location was not in the PFJ RV Directory.

Never said I didn't like it. This thread has provided much needed info on FJ/Pilot. But, after page upon page of comments, it has served it's purpose. I only checked in to see the new comments.
Have a wonderful day!!!

One voice is always a good thing, but it's just one voice. I, personally, see no reason to close this thread. It is "on topic" and it is providing "current" information about the P/FJ ongoing status changes.

wingtrike,
Pardon me. I assumed that by your asking the moderators to close the thread that you were tiring of it. Hence my suggestion to NOT read it.

If folks stop 'checking in', it will die on it's own.

Filled up in Tucumcari, NM today using the RV lanes. I generally use the truck lanes, but they were very full and the RV lanes were easy access. Anyway, swiped Visa, swiped RV card, got cash price and $.03 discount. So far this summer, I haven't found a Flying J that the card didn't work. Very pleased so far.

How much difference in price per gallon cash vs credit card purchase?

I believe $.06. So with $.03 RV card discount, it ends up being $.09.

Maybe you can request a promotion to moderator so that we may all benefit from your editorial prowess.

Or not...

A reply has been received regarding post # 379 in this thread. At stations where no discount is allowed, at the truck lanes, the pump start feature will not work.

Post #1 has been edited to reflect this new information.

Today, I filled up at the J in Fargo, ND. I used the truck pumps. The process worked as advertised. Pump start worked and I received the cash price using my AMEX card and got the 3 cents per gallon discount. The Love's across the street was a penny cheaper than the J on the advertised cash price. This make the J a net of 2 cents a gallon cheaper than the competition and I got to use my AMEX card and not pay cash.
