Hi DandS,
Thanks for the updated information. I went to the PFJ RV web site and see there is a problem with how this is explained on the web site vs the information you received. I will send an email to PFJ to have their web site match what was told to you.

I have changed post #1 to include the information you provided.

The following is from Gary's first post:

9c. VISA RV Lanes For Gas Fuel = $150.

Poor, poor Lynsay! She really never had a chance! I guess she finally figured that out as that side of this thread has been dark since 8-2.
Lynsay/PFJ, we are sorry to hear you go. At least you gave it a fair try!

I believe there is an arrangement between Lynsay and Gary for him to handle responses on this topic.

Wouldn't that be a sad commentary if true!

I understand that you and others are not big fans of the new PFJ, but I'm sure Lynsay has many areas that she is trying to cover. Gary took on the responsibility for handling this topic for this forum, and I personally think he has done an excellent job, and don't see a thing that I could remotely call "sad" about the arrangement.

I did write to corporate with all the numbers etc. and asked for a response...three days and waiting.

All I want is pump start at the truck lanes and a fill. One trip in and out is ok, but back and forth twice with pre-pay will send me back down the road to the XYZ Truckstop.

Hope next week in Gulfport, MS is a better experience.

Gooooooo Gators!!!
Got a nice response from PFJ regarding the snafu. Hope it is fixed as that is a very busy snowbird stop right at the FL/GA border. They also were issuing a credit for the .03 discount...which will not register on prepays. The buck or so was not the issue and never has been since the merger...all I want is pump start to work.

Thanks PFJ...AND Gary for all your time devote dto this thread.

Today I filled up at the Pilot on I85 in Kannapolis, NC. The PFJ Frequent Fueler program worked as advertised. The Pilot cash price per gallon was the same as other advertised cash prices for several exits before I got to the Pilot. With the Frequent Fueler Program .03 discount, I paid that amount less per gallon and still got to use my AMEX card.

Stopped at the PFJ in Staunton VA on I-81. Used RV card, and it was excepted on the gas pump. I have used my RV card for gas in anyone of my vehicles & it has worked fine at several on the East coast. However last night, after fueling up and getting my reciept there was no discount. I did not say anything to the clerk, mostly because it was 2am & I did not want to get into a long conversation about 26 cents. The amount of money is not an issue here. What I do find as an issue is, I research PFJ prior to my travels & stop there when possible. I did not need fuel yet, but I would prior to the next PFJ, I did not know what other choices were down the road. PFJ claims that since we are loyal customers they will show thier appreciation by giving a discount. When I don't recieve that discount I feel like that particular station is taken advantage of me. There were at least 3 gas station at that exit that all had the same price for reg unl $3.159. PFJ was the last one in the row. I chose them because I figured I would get the gas for $3.139 & I continue to be loyal. I was let down. I feel cheap being that I felt this way for .26, but this how it makes me feel when I don't get what has been promised due to being a loyal customer. By the way a few miles south of there at Fuel City reg was listed at $3.09 on thier highway sign. I will remember that on my way back south on Friday.

Hi dsbike,
I do not see a PFJ, in Staunton, VA in the PFJ RV Travel Guide. The I81 PFJs I see are:
Fort Chiswell I81/I77 exit 80
Greenville I81/I64 exit 213
Troutville I81 exit 150
Winchester I81 exit 323
Wytheville I81 exit 77

Was your stop at one of these stations? If so, can you provide the details on your receipt to PFJ at the email address in post #1?
