Used to brew beer a lot until I started packing on weight due to the very high calories in home brew. Whet the back to lite beer and lost 20 pounds. Is there a way to home brew lower calorie beer?

Don't make any home brew ourselves, but have local connections for "Mom's Homemade Apple Pie a la mode Moonshine", regular moonshine, and homemade rye whiskey. I have to be very careful though. It's kicked me in the rear more than once...
