How easily we forget! Oh yea, you guys are in Texas! Seriously don't forget to check on your friends and relatives, drop off some bottled water to the local shelter, and count your blessings. Give everybody some extra slack, because its HOT!!! Not only that, it's [moderator edit] HOT!!!!!!!!

It got all the way up to 73 here on the Oregon coast today, with a pleasant ocean breeze. Just sayin'.......

Tried fryin' an egg in a solar pre-heated cast iron skillet when it was 120 out. It just dried up. Whites didn't even turn... white. Infrared gun showed 180 on a tire sidewall.

BTW, tap water was 85.

Did you see Dave Munsey of channel 10 make rice crispy treats using the heat of car on last nights news? And yes cooking eggs did not work. Where did that saying come from? Frying eggs on sidewalks just doesn't seem to work.

Yup! Had to push a lot of snow this year in RI. It Didn't make the Boss happy but it made my wallet smile.

We are staying in our daughters back yard.Last Dec. we had to be pulled out of the mud from a monyh of rain then the snow came.Now today it was 100 degrees and the air con. has been on all day for a week.Today it overheated and quit.I got it running after an hour to cool down .So.Or weather.
