I have to admit, although I prefer perked , I mostly use a drip coffee maker. Lots of coffee grounds and strong aroma. Alot of people don't like my coffee but they can always water it down.
We have Italian friends who make expresso in their little pot. That's a good cup too.

Absolutely, I grab my first cup and go back to bed and refuse to great the morning until I have finished that cup in complete darkness and quiet.

I love my Keurig. SInce the DW doesn't drink coffee, brewing a pot is a waste, and I love the fact that the coffee is always the same cup after cup with no measuring

Hmm, interesting. I have not had that issue.

I have a small bnd 4cup drip that i use. I broke the decanter, twice, so now just put a coffee cup underneath.
I grind beans when i want a cup.

Eight year old Mr. Coffee. I put in 7 1/2 cups of water, four full scoops of coffee and we each get two nice cups of hot coffee in the morning. Once month, we run five cups of vinegar through it followed by two 8 cups of fresh water...keeps it going...

Keurig in the motorhome and S&B (along with a Breville drip coffee maker and a zarafina tea brewer in the S&B). I'm not a coffee drinker, but I'll take a nice hot cup of Earl Grey or Breakfast Blend. Meanwhile the DW likes her coffee strong, a 2 pod cup each time.

The pods are where they really get you. So many flavors, even for me with tea, iced tea, hot chololates .. the list goes on. I like the convenience and options with k-cups, just dislike the cost.

We have the reuseable filters for our Keurig and I've been making my tea with one for quite a while. I can adjust the strength by the number of tea bags I put in the filter, and can still brew it a cup at a time .. or use loose tea if I have it.

Recently the DW has started using the other reuseable filter to get her Dunkin Donuts fix. Yes it's a bit messier than the pods, but the cost savings is pretty significant considering a lb. of DD ground coffee is about $9 around here, and usually 2 for $15 - while a box of 14 kcups is $13.

Let's not even get on the topic of the environmental waste that goes along with all the individual kcup packs. Convenience and large variety has its price I guess.

Well, I posted earlier that I made mine with a 12 cup Mr. Coffee as the wife hasn't been drinking coffee for a while. Well I had a talk with her and she just doesn't like my brewer SOOOO for an early Christmas present I bought her a Keurig B60. She's enjoying the sample packs that came with it but I've noticed here looking on line for some other flavors. Oh well as long as she's happy that's all that matters to me.
