I've lived here off and on (mostly on) for almost 40 years.
My wife's folks from Massachusetts used to visit us every couple of years, and for some reason, they always came in July or August (probably because those are the months they can get out of their driveway).
They always asked us, "How do you stand this heat?"
We take off more clothes.
Stay out of the sun.
Turn down the A/C.
Drink more iced tea.
And, since this is our "bad" weather, we don't have to shovel it out of our driveway.
It's actually been fairly cool and rainy for the last week here in DFW.
Trucking to support the cats.
