How's the weather there?

Yep, I'm bragging.

Today it was sunny, 76* with a light breeze. I'm in southern Washington state parked 100 ft north of the mighty Columbia River. It was almost heaven. I planted a small ornamental tree that I bought for my hosts as a Thank You for sharing their paradise. Tomorrow is forecast to be the same only 66*. I think I can handle it.

When the typical fall rains return, we will head to SD for driver's license renewal and then south to the Houston area for Christmas with Mom. I'm considering AZ for Jan and Feb. I just LOVE being a retired full-timer.

What was the weather like where you are today? And where are you planning to go next?

We left the Thousan Trails Pio Pico outside of San Diego this morning....it was 85+ and climbing at 10 am. Drove out to Eloy AZ where it hit 105 in the day time but is now very pleasant out. Off to Las Cruces tomorrw.

Here in NH it's going to be mid to upper 70's today. Cooler this week end but still in the 60's. Leaves are starting to turn. Looks like great fall camping ahead.

G'mornin ALL:

hI from Mitchell, So. Dakota, and it's a gettin chilly. 44 F this a.m. but headin up to 80 today before the bottom drops out !! Early Alberta Clipper is movin this way and daytime temps dropping into mid 50's through the upcoming weekend. We're presently camped next to a couple from Edmonton, Alberta who are waiting for the big snow up N. of Montana in Canada to clear up so they can head home.

We're heading to Florida if we can ever get outta here. Have family wedding Oct. 6th then headin SOUTH lookin for warmer climates. With these currently cold morings and overnight temps (suppose to be down in the 20's overnight for next few days) we now remember why we migrate South in the fall. All them birds can't be wrong.

After several days of overcast and light rain and temps in the 50s here in Woodstock, New Hampshire, we woke up this am to sunshine so we're headed out for a full day of Leaf Peepin'.

It's our first trip to NE and have been just amazed at the colors. The hillsides look like a big bowl of Trix cereal. Just beautiful.

From here we head to Stowe, Vermont for a week. Then it's on to Niagara Falls before making a beeline back to Arizona for the winter.

Thanks Bruce. We've been kicking around NE for three weeks now and, as a west coast boy, I've gotta say that I've been SO impressed with how beautiful everything is and how friendly everyone has been.

Well after spending two months in beautiful Birch Bay WA we're now back home in Vegas, NV--temp as of this writing 81.3 but will climb to low 90's today--no humidity so pretty nice.

Best regards and safe travels to all...

We're down near the border in Az snowbirding a bit early. We're doing some remodeling on the rig, so didn't want to make a late summer run up north. (early summer I was healing after broken ribs and punctured lung...doing good now.)

Anyhoo, its still in the 90s and gets down in the lower 60s at night. I get a lot done in the morning and eveningc but the a/c still feels good in the afternoon.

Okmunky and the rest of y'all headed this way for wintter....we'll keep the campfire glowing and the brews cold.
