HSA Bank Recommendations

Question for those of you out there who have a Health Savings Account (HSA): We have been very happy with Adirondack Bank until they reduced our interest rate from 3% to 1% and imposed a monthly service fee. Now it's time to compare options again, sigh.

Any recommendations are appreciated, thanks very much in advance for any great tips you may have.

I have not used a bank since 1975.

Non-profit Credit Unions are widely available, and dont ding you to death.
Best wishes!

Karen,

Like you we have been with Adirondack since we started our HSA's several years ago. We still have not found anyone that can beat them. We have tried to make sure we keep at least $1600 in the account to offset the fees. We aren't happy with either the reduction in interest rate or the fees but we have not been able to find anyone who is even remotely close to them in either rate or fees.

We had our HSA's with Wells Fargo but they kept charging for all sorts of stuff so we moved them over to Alliant Credit Union (we joined through Escapees), no fees and a better interest rate.
so far so good.
