offshore,
Congrats on getting through the storm with everything intact. My theme of "any excuse for a trip" can kinda get carried away in hurricane season. It looks like Hanna will miss us. Right now, Ike, seems to be targeting South Florida.

offshore,
Don't get too settled in your new home park. Today I will go into evacuation mode so we can leave on Sunday. Ike may also come your way. Imagine a good Republican like Ike is going to bash South Florida. Right now that is about all the humor I can stand.

Hey Offshore let me know how you like Cajun Palms - we will be in Pensacola from December til February and then heading to Texas for March. I was thinking about doing a week or two at Cajun Palms. Be safe.

I'll let you in on a secret. I voted for IKE and here he comes again. Ain't that a hoot?? If he loves me, he will go up and give New York a big old wet kiss.

Looking at the NOAA graphic in the following link:
http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/graphics_at4...large#contents

It shows the center of the cone to be directly for New Orleans.

I have to believe that not as many people will evacuate this time and that could cause many to get killed if NO takes a direct hit.

Hanna just passed us by in Portland Maine, we had rain all night long. Nothing too bad, but wet enough to keep you indoors.

Ike, oh my !!!!! Here we go again!!!!!!!

Amazingly we believe these hurricanes are looking for us. We left Miami to come to Maine a few months ago. Hanna said hello to us last night, and we think Ike wants to find our stick house in Miami. After hurricane Andrew we just didn't want to stick around for any more.

My prayers are with all of us in any of the
hurricane paths. Safety first.

Hang in there, only a few more brewing out there.
