I am an addict !!!!
WHAT !!!!!
Blue Bell ice-cream is not available in all US states .
Here I am going through both Colorado and Utah and neither have supermarkets that sell Blue Bell ice-cream.
What to do??
I bought a local supermarket brand but it doesn't feed my craving at all. In fact it was nice at all.
I'm desperate. Which is the second best ready available product?

Hi
I feel your pain...
Your best bet is to get one of these.
Walmart.com: Play & Freeze 1-Pint Ice Cream Maker Ball, Blue: Appliances
Fill 'er up with the ingredients of your choice, and let it roll around in the back of your rig until it reaches the consistency you like.
I recommend adding a jigger or two of bourbon (per pint of ice cream); it adds a certain piquancy that serves to overcome any deficiencies in flavor.
Do be careful not to let the ball get lodged under the gas pedal...
Hope this helps!
Francesca

Bluebunny and Tillamook! I will keep my eyes peeled!
I take it that they are both equally low in calories like my favourite Blue Bell .

It does if you're towing my trailer.
But then, the ride's so rough that we've had to completely re-invent the Classic S'more...
Graham crackers arrive at camp in crumb form only!
But the trailer's bangin' and shakin's good for the Ice Cream Ball

Although Blue Bell is a Texas tradition and our favorite, a close second is Velvet made in Utica, Ohio - we found it during our 22 years in central Ohio.
