Your little girl is going to be a mom? I can not remember a more magical moment when I held our grand daughter for the first time. Grandpaw is gonna have too much fun spoiling the little one to bits then giving him/her back to mom to deal with.

I still remember the day our first grandchild was born! I went to the hospital to be with our daughter through delivery, and came out a full-fledged grandma! The feelings I had when I saw that little babe were overwelming! Got that same feeling with each of the other 5 too! Congratulations! You're going to love grandparenthood.

I don't mean to steal your thread and I certainly won't start another one but.....

I'm 'scheduled' to be a first time grandpa NEXT TUESDAY/WEDNESDAY! Every time I mention it to anyone I get this silly grin on my face! I'm lovin' it!!!!

Just as you said, thank God for the miracles in life.

Grandchildren are God's way of compensating us for growing old, and also for not killing our kids.
Congrats. We have eight and two Great grandsons. They are even more fun!

Both my sons seemed to marry girls with ready made familys, I woke up one day and had 14 grand children, We are wearing the RV out trying to get to meet all of them, half are in Alaska, along with 13 GreatGrandchildren there.

"Grandchildren hold your hands for a while-Your heart forever"
Then theres this old one;
"If I knew that having grandbabys was so much fun I WOULD"A HAD THEM FIRST"
