The vid won't play on my tablet, but there are times when I wished I had a train horn.

Love it!
I had a set of train horns on our old Airstream. A bit of a sleeper, hidden from view behind the grill, but man, did they ever take a lot of air!! I had a 3/8 ball valve down beside the driver's seat, so I could regulate the air and honk them just like a locomotive.
Happy Glamping.

I would love to have a train horn. They warm my soul. The horn on my W22 is pathetic. Not sure why they didn’t just do a regular truck horn. It sounds like it belongs on a Prius.

However, having been near a car it was used on by a pickup truck and watching the panic and confusion that ensued by the recipient I realized it wasn’t going to get the drivers attention in a useful way. Lol they almost wrecked. Which would have hampered the progress of that honked at them.

So the question is, if they are dumb and need to be honked at are they smart enough to process the train horn and the thing about to run them over not being a train. plus it startles the crap out of them....round here they are likely to take a bat to your vehicle.

I had a 69 Toyota Corona that had a truck horn (wish I had it now) and it left people looking for something bigger, I was invisible.

Very cool. I like the way it comes out, but that would make you slower on the horn, unless you leave it out all the time while driving. Then it would be a bug collector. It's still way cool though. I've wanted a air horn for along time. I don';t know why I haven't just DUN IT.

New a gutguy years ago who put a train horn in a Ford van.
He had a huge air tank.
He also had an d oscillating orbital train head light.
He'd run down the middle of the street in the wee hours of the morning with lights off.
He'd blow the horn then turn on the headlight.
Any oncoming traffic would brake and pull over.
Great stunt.
This was in a suburb of Los Angeles. 1970s

I actually have the old steam locomotive 4 note horn on my GMC. Solid brass whistle weighs 14 lbs and uses 9gals of air tank. Lot of fun
