Here in southern Az its time to put up the sunshades and let it sit for the summer. It gets too hot during the summer to dry camp and no fun to sit in the Rv with the air on anyway.
Maybe rocky mountains for a month?

We're suppose to get to 60 on Monday!! But next day, back to low 40s... :( Low 40s this weekend, but we'll have our little space heater going in our (new to us) rv!! We've had it for a few weeks now, and been too cold to even hardly check it out! Come on Monday!!
- hubby's taking a vacation day for it!

Like you couldn't work on the outside so today I tore apart the inside and gave it the big spring clean!! At least I felt like I was using it!!!
The inside is ready to go now.

Down here in Florida we are gearing up for another wet year. Lots of rain. But it beats all that funky frigid white stuff!
We did have one day of hail/slush mix that covered everything in a thing grainy layer of ice.... but next day it was gone. This past winter has actually been less cold than a few years back. We had a few days in the teens then!
Waking up to my tent covered in ice was one big reason I decided to go the Rv route!

My wife is saying the same thing as your daughter. I told her to hang in there because I can't get the fifth wheel out of the freakin' snow!!!!

This was our first year escaping winter. The whole time we were just sitting outside, saying isn't this wonderful. I have to admit, it was great.

Recently, I've been reading all the threads about going outside, the snow finally melted, sitting outside in the cold Rv getting all excited. Yes, the spring storms may be a step back, but one thing I realized I missed this year was the anticipation. Taking the coach to some state park on a chilly wet April day with little or no food in it, just enough stuff for one night.
After all winter, how much fun is that? Its cold and damp outside, you are sleeping in your nice warm coach in the woods.

Think about it, its all part of the experience.

Yup, it's been a brutal winter for you Northerners. Hope it warms up soon and stays that way. We'll be up there at least I think the first part of May.

Spent one winter in KY and one in IN and never understood how people do northern winters year after year. This winter for ya'll has been hard but surely relief is near.
