Happens to me a lot. Very disappointing too. I love fixing things. In fact, so much so, that I've been known to break stuff, just to have something to do.
I've thought of/dreamed of 'brilliant' repairs when just dropping off to sleep only to wake up the next morning scratching my head...

I've drifted off to sleep thinking about a problem and, sure enough, when I wake up - its still there.

Take two Vicodin at once - you will return to the 70's.

Have to admit, have drove away without unpluging the 50 amp cord......the rest was an expense. No longer have the coach..............

Forgot to unplug the umbilical cord to my BatteryMinder. Guy at the tire shop ask: "What's this for?"
