I lost my dad to cancer 5 years ago. It was tough to watch what it did, not only to him, but my mother as his caretaker. Make sure you are taking care of yourself. May God bless you and your wife.

Prayers of healing and comfort for both you and Mrs D. I know the worry because her mother had liver cancer, but treatment has so improved over the years. My grandmother had liver cancer. She passed in 1971.

I've gone through two rounds of radiation for skin cancer. My Mother is a 3 time breast cancer survivor with a double mastectomy. So we understand the worry and the frustration and the feeling you just need to scream. DO IT! It does help.

If you have to come to Seattle there is an RV park right off I-90 in Bellevue which would make for a pretty easy commute to Pill Hill. Its small but convenient and near the end of the season so you probably can get space. I'm wracking my brain trying to think of other RV space close enough to the Big 3 cancer centers.

Got a call from OHSU today, they set up another chemoembolization for Sept 11th. No over night stay this time. Need to call them back and ask if they killed the one so they'll mover on to #2 and 3 or what.
Been looking at the charges for the first one, $76,100 so far! The summary shows that we owe nothing though. Sure hope that's right!
She feels worse right now than just after the first treatment, more pain and physical symptoms. Had to clean the carpet into the bathroom this morning at 2:00 am after she didn't make it in time. Oh well, guess that's part of being a caregiver.

I know it's tough on you, but just hang in there and do what you have to do. I think we have to remember that the situation could be reversed. Lifting both of you up in our prayers! God bless!
