Mr. D;

Been following your posts. It is interesting to me because Peg and I are in the opposite situation.

I have the liver cancer, and she has the burden of living with things she has no control over.

I feel that I am the luckier of us. If and when the time comes, my ordeal will be over, and she will be left with her memories, all of the aftermath, and learning how to live on her own for the first time in almost 40 years. I don't envy her.

Anyway, we wish you the best, and hope you have her for many years to come.

That's some of what I worry about too. Luckily our finances are all in order. I took over paying the bills a couple years ago when she started to forget paying them. she always did it before and she was good at it, which is why we have what we have today.

So far they say she's a Stage A but personally I think it's B or even C.

Prayers for you too!! Good luck and keep in touch.

I hate liver cancer

MR. D and wife My prayers are with you daily. I've had bladder cancer and three times breast cancer. Keep a positive attitude. Better days are ahead. If you run into any financial difficulties consult with a social worker at the hospital. Many programs and grant $ is available. A support group is a good idea as already suggested. I'm doing well with my cancer check ups. Take care. Hugs and prayers from Niagara Falls,NY.

Did the second chemoembolization yesterday, they did keep her overnight. Results show that the first treatment did get to the first tumor. Now waiting for them to go over the results of yesterdays treatment. They have also found a third tumor and need to evaluate possible treatments or just wait and watch.
Headed up to Seattle on Monday for an evaluation with the UW transplant unit. After that we'll just have to see what comes up.

In Seattle now in a motel since it was too costly to drive the MH up here for just one night. Got in early to almost avoid the traffic jams. Room was ready so we are resting now. Next is to find a close by REASONABLE restaurant.
Have to be at the UW by about 8:30 am for more blood testing. Cindy just took a pain pill so it was a stretch to come up here so soon after the last treatment.

THANKS everyone for the thoughts and prayers!!

Probably not right now, if she qualifies for a transplant and lives long enough to get to the top of the list we'll need info on RV parks close by. Won't have any idea when that might be.

Thanks
Deen
