WOW, WOW and wowwee, I have listened to this song before, SORT OF !!!. She has a great voice, but holy smokes, what a depressing song. It's as bad as the one they play at Christmas about the Red Shoes for mamma before she croaks.

Have you seen her in this "Country Music Hall of Fame" Benefit- "Down from the Mountain"?
Hulu - Down From The Mountain - Watch the full movie now.
It'll knock your socks off...

Everybody in this show is The Real Deal, fresh off the circuit.

Which link are you talking about, Bob?

The one I just posted, or the one "The Great Dane" posted?
I'm getting his fine in Washington State...

A couple of years ago while in Austin, Tx I heard Allison doing a duet with Robert Plant (Led Zepplin) that just blew my socks off. It was a country/blues tune. I've read where singers from all types of music want to sing with Allison because of her professionalism and her voice.

Your post I had not clicked on when I responded...now that I have, it's both links. Prince George, Canada is our present location, that probably explains it. Using the CG's WiFi. Bob

Well, to be correct, it is Alison Krauss and Union Station. Yes, they are a bluegrass group, from Central Illinois. Champaign, Illinois to be exact. They have lots of albums (CD's) out. Enjoy her music. She is a great singer.

She and her band did the soundtrack for the movie "Brother Where Art Thou" with George Clooney. She has also done an album "Raising Sand"with Robert Plant from Led Zepplin. A very good collection of her work is a CD named "A Hundred Miles or More"

If you like Alison you owe it to yourself to listen to Eva Cassidy. The CD "Eva By Heart" is very good and possibly her best work. Eva died in her early 30's melanoma.

Haven't looked up Eva Cassidy yet but I will - thanks for the tip.
