And what is also annoying and very dangerous is someone traveling down the on ramp onto the highway just as you arrive there with you RV and you cannot get over because somebody is to your left. The person coming down the on ramp does not slow down and expects you to get over or slow down so they can enter the highway. Don't they know that they do not have the right away??

It's much easier to see them from your motor home than it is to catch them while driving a black and white that stands out in a crowd. Plus then you have to be 100% sure that they weren't just resting their head or picking their ear. And then you need to get wheeled around in traffic and find him again. And now with it being 500 bucks you'll be in court and have to convince some bleeding heart that the thing you saw was definitely a cell phone and not a wallet or a sunglass case or a book or......It's not as easy as some might think unfortunately.

Here in western Canada you can take your drivers licence test in several different languages.
All the traffic signs I see on the road are in English.
Go to one of those other countries and try that, and see what happens.
Political correctness or just plain stupid?

And if they have nothing and no insurance what does that get you beside a huge legal bill.

That was exactly what happened in my case.

Well, that's true in some cases. However, if the cops or the courts won't enforce the law, what recourse does one have?

This exact scenario happened to friends of ours. It was their first trip out with their brand new shiny fifth wheel. The driver of the car that was not merging, put a bullet in their coach!
What is the matter with people?

Long discussions on that subject here a few times., consensus was split on- maintain "Right of Way" or nice guys would let them in, speed up, slow down, change lanes, honk loudly or run em into the weeds. Basically no they don't know.

Im really gun shy at any on ramp now. I slow way down so that if an idiot that cant grasp the concept of merging can do so with out running me over.

I may have the right of way but I have better things to do than waste my time getting in a collision so I can prove just how right I am. Let them merge, mutter what a moron they are under my breath and get on with my day. Don't sweat the little things.

They do that for many ethnic groups, depending on the place. Did your ancestors speak English when they got off the boat? Not many did, except for the Anglos and the Irish.

Distracted-foreign drivers
I travel a lot for work. Recently spent a week in central MA, which has a very large middle eastern and Indian/Pakistani population. I had 2 separate instances where a foreign driver came in the wrong entrance and almost head-on hit me. Then they act like you are in the wrong.
Really hope whoever wins the election stops the invasion.
