I RV alone and travel from Seattle to Tampa, FL twice a year. I do not open the RV doors after dark. The last thing I want to do is walk Lily at night, so I trained her to use puppy pads at night and we go outside during the day if the weather isn't horrible. Have you considered those for your dogs. Even if you lay them on the ground outdoors it would be better than getting pee on their feet. I don't blame them for preferring grass.

I've found the puppy pads that Costco sells are the best for the price. There are sprays that will help your pups get the idea quicker. And, you throw them away instead of stashing them in a storage bay.

Am I they only one that shops a petco. They sell a patch of grass with sent and tray to catch everything easy to clean and fits nicely in the basement. Your peat is easily trained to use. When you buy one buy a second they work well at home when you have occasion to leave your pet for longer than couple of hours.

You know, many convention centers are near a freway or airport or other noisy place so that convention attendees can easily get there... And the long term large vehicle (mostly trucks) parking is usually out back and the conditions often as you described. It is what I would expect in fact.

That said I can help you a little bit.. Put your Air conditioner(s) on HIGH (Fan only mode if its cold out, and it's cold out) The noise of the blower(s) will mask many of the outside sounds and greatly reduce the rest.

I bought a small electric air purifier for our RV. We have Lily who barks at every noise. The white noise from the air purifier's fan helps mask the noise and cleans the air.

lol, oh boy these daschunds.... they are very hyper, lots of energy and every little distraction they want to pay attention.

But it seemed on the way back they got more and more used to the idea of walking a bit and doing their business on a leash.

About to take them on another run to Arizona, so more time for training.

We also started carrying treats in the pocket, and giving them one literally... while they are pooing or peeing. I have a feeling they will catch on to that pretty quick.
