I left for two days and theyre all gone

Had to go to NC for one day. I returned today on I75 south and saw hundreds of RV's headed North. It seemed to be the perfect storm for the exit. The last of the cold weather broke , rental sites expiring on 3/31 , Canadians needing to get back within the six month allotted time frame and everyone else needing to get home to file their taxes. Have a great Summer. See ya next year

We drove 30 miles of I95 yesterday on our way to the Outer Banks. Stopped for gas at the Flying J in Kenly NC. The RV lanes were completely backed up and the RV parking area was full, with more rigs parked in the roadway so we could barely get through to get back on the road. Yep, someone rang the "get out of Florida" bell for sure.

Judging by the traffic here on the coast, the 'bell' did not toll...yet.

And here I am, I'd normally be leaving in about 2 weeks to go back north but this summer.. I got to be in SOUTHERN GA in JULY of all months.

We see them same thing here in Alaska about late August/early September time frame. Everyone wants to head 'south' before it get too much colder and the snow flies.

It's kinda like the way the native inhabitants did it for thousands of years.

Just drove westbound on I-78 here in NJ and ton of RV's going westbound. This road is a common way to get around the NY/Philly/Baltimore/DC mess.

In Phoenix we called "SNOW BIRDS" . They disguise themselves in human form.
