I like you Canadians but...

.... wish you would keep your weather to yourself. We came down to sunny Florida for our annual winter getaway and its 37 this morning in Orlando. Of course I see some of you are here in Orlando with me. Maybe we took a wrong turn somewhere and we are in Kansas!

I suggest you purchase a world map & make sure that you notice where Alaska (part of the USA, I understand) is located. Poor winter weather enters Canada from Alaska before hitting the lower USA.

Eh!

I believe that this is all Al Gore's fault, God is punishing him for lying about global warming.

We are in Melbourne Beach and it is 30 degrees with the windchill, tomorrow it is going down to 20s with the windchill with actual freezing temperatures. I don't even own a winter coat, only have 1 long sleeve shirt on no Long Johns. What's a whimp supposed to do?

I love following your post's, you guys always crack me up with the running commentary.

You could always come to the Southwest where it was 80F today.

Sorry to hear that Florida is not so hot! My brother & sister-in-law just arrived at Flagler Beach to spend 4 months. They winter there from upstate NY. I may decide to fly there for a week or so after it warms up to do some surf fishing.

Happy New Year to all!

We have reservations at TGO starting the 31st. Was looking forward to dewinterizing after leaving NH. Now I'm not sure I'll need to.

OK, stop your whining! It was still 40 degrees warmer in Orlando than here in Wisconsin this morning. And just imagine the carbon foot print Ol' Al is leaving, what with having to heat all those rooms in his mansion and all. I'll bet he's beside himself with grief and shame. Give the poor guy a break.

Al's probably out trying to invent something like the Internet again to regain the respect of the American Public. I for one believed him when he said he invented the Internet, but then again, I bought swamp land in Florida!

Would love to see you guys too. As you know, leaving from here depends on that "window" of good weather. Plan is to leave nlt 28th. If we can get out sooner, "The Beach" may work. If not, maybe when we head back around the 1st of March.

Just a suggestions for the Canadians....KEEP YOUR COLD AIR IN CANADA. We are getting 3 or 4 nights here below freezing...down to 24 dF one night and a high of 36 dF. This is not acceptable for Houston.

They are just passing it along, Eh! They say it comes to them from Alaska and they just pass it back to us, Eh. I still think Al Gore is part of the conspiracy, Eh. He is probably a Closet Noofie, Eh! Wait, maybe he is just from Minnesota, Ya, You Bet Ya! Well, maybe Northern Texas, Y'all! Or from Key West, the Silly Savage!

Sorry, long night and I'm Sleepy, or was that Dopie, no wait, it was Sneezy!
