Yep, waited 6 months for the first camping trip of the year. Living in the North sure makes for a long cold Winter.

How many others have just gotten out for the year?

The first one of the year sure looks good.

You don't live in the north. You live in the south.
I live in the north.
Someone from Quebec would tell me that I live in the south.

Well it looks really nice. If we didn't have a burn ban in effect here we'd have one too.

Just got back yesterday from a two week trip to Northern Indiana from Tallahassee. Wx was perfect. The real thrill was seeing the spring bloom all the way up and back. Never saw so much pink dogwoods, redbuds, flowering crab apple and a new one on me, weeping cherry (tons of pink flowers) and forsthia (sp) big bush of yellow flowers. I think next spring we will try to go all the way up to northern canada with the bloom-- If we can affort the gas. s/Toby

OMG. What is it?? I think I saw something like it about a year ago. Just in case I think some one better call the fire department.

Nice campfire Joe.
We had one going at our campsite but didn't look as nice as yours. Wasn't much firewood to be had.
Our first tripe out this year was Apr.15-16 at one of our State Parks. They are, beautiful places.

Have a good time.
I have much to say why my reputation should be rescued from the load of false accusation and calumny which has been heaped upon it.

We are heading out Monday morning for our first trip out since Florida in Feb. We're heading to Raystown Lake, PA for a week of doing nothing on my part and fishing on his part.

Raystown is a beautiful lake. We've never camped there, but boated on the lake several times.

Enjoy your time there
