Yep, waited 6 months for the first camping trip of the year. Living in the North sure makes for a long cold Winter.

How many others have just gotten out for the year?

The first one of the year sure looks good.

Yep Joe, That sure does look good. We went out April 1 this year and last year too, but we didn`t get to have a big ole far as Oklahoma was almost all afar and they wouldn`t let us start another one. I don`t think they will let us have one this next week, but we will ifn its ok, miss those ole dogs and black marshmallows.

See yall in the funnies, Warren

We were out for the first time April 7-9 but it was too cold/windy that weekend in West Salem, Ohio to enjoy a nice fire as shown in your picture.
Our next campout will be with the Ohio WOW (Winnebago rally) in Upper Sandusky the first weekend of May.

Enjoy!!!

I am so jealous! We have not made it out since the nice weather hit. We went to Wilmington in Mar and froze our tooshies off though. Had a nice campfire too, dogs and mallows on the menu.

It is hard for us to get away bcuz dh is a chaplain and is with the troops on Sunday mornings. And now, ds6 had his tball games on Sat.

There are a couple of CGs in town here and a military one on the lake. We may do that and dh can still go to work and come back. Hey, its not totally relaxing, but ya gotta take what you can get.

Yep, cold weather sure is a bummer. We only managed to go out over Thanksgiving, one weekend in February and over Easter. Even had to wear jackets on that February trip!! Living in Texas does have its advantages.

We went to a few COE parks in AL and GA last month, here's the sunset at one of them.

Here's my first trip out this year....no campfires or sunsets, just some good ole factory service from the good folks in Forest City.

Doesn't matter what the weather is when RV'ing. Just "Goin' places, makin' friends, havin' fun" thats what it's all about.

Mike,

Somehow, I'm getting the feeling you had something to do with how great that fire was. Did Joe hijack your fire?

Hey Joe-K.....tell us about all the hard work you did to get that fire going....

That'd be almost a "fish" story!!
