Charleston, Savannah or Saint Augustine.....all full of history, good restaurants, good music etc.
Depends on how far you want to drive!
Have fun.
Dave

Since you don't want to go to Myrtle Beach again, I'd suggest you consider Charleston, SC. Plenty to do there and weather at Thanksgiving will be nice.
There is a wonderful municipal RV park called James Island County Park on the south end of Charleston and there is a nice KOA on the north end called Mt. Pleasant KOA. Either place provide good and easy access to the historic downtown area. If you go and like good, fresh seafood, eat at Hyman's in the downtown area. Great, fresh seafood at reasonable prices.

A few years ago we did T'giving in St. Augustine. It was cold and windy on the ocean side but we went to a campground across the highway on the river and it was much nicer. FWIW I spent some of my coldest Thanksgivings in Florida,,,,go figure.

We have gone to Gatlinburg TN for the last two years. We stayed once in Pigeon Forge but it was too crowded so last year we went to Townsend, TN where it was nice and quiet. We could drive into town when we wanted are were right by the entrance to the quiet side of Smokey Mt. National Park.

We've been to the Gatlinburg area for the past 5-6 years for Thanksgiving. Sometimes renting a "cabin" sometimes in the MH. We have stayed in Gatlinburg, Sevierville, Pigeon Forge and Newport (last minute July 4th trip). Great place to visit. Lots to do. Dollywood, shopping discounts, arcades, museums, helicopter rides, go-carts, many shows, eats. Several RV parks close or distant. Close to the Smokies and Cherokee stuff, Maggie Valley, etc.

How about Disney? The crowds are low and the day (or two) after Thanksgiving all the Christmas trimmings suddenly appear.

Probably too far for you to drive but last Thanksgiving we spent at Buckhorn Lake Resort in Kerrville Texas. They put on a sit down dinner for 350 people in their "barn". The park provides the turkey, dressing and potatos and everyone else brings a pot luck side dish. Made me wish I had a bigger stomach!
