Plenty of water both well for pools, grass and city for drinking. We own all water and mineral etc rights to it too.
We let the local Children’s home use it to grow crops on for years and then they got more modern and quit using it.
Not sure it’s really in an exciting area of NM – but it’s on the NM, TX boarder. Quiet and lots of room!
Don't just doze those buildings, if they are old wood the wood or entire building can be sold. Many artists and craftsmen are looking for barn wood and old wood.
Google is your friend-sometimes.

Thats a great idea! I know there are some old glass french doors that we have stored from there. They are really cool..........so should have thought of that.

Thanks!

This is 4 miles down the road... Go 1-2x a week..

We grew up with drive inns in Colorado and then they disappeared, we have found a few over the years and we love them that's why we put a theater in our backyard! Your new CG should definitely have a walk up outdoor theater.

We had thought of a bed and breakfast before we started RV'ing....we love RV'ing and since we ae in a lot of CG we thought..............maybe, and so I am here talking out loud. LOL

I thought a nice communitee room would be nice where pie and coffee was served every night too. Some place fun like that.

We love the drive-in. When my son was little we would put his excersaucer in the back of the van & go to the santee drive-in. Now he's a bit bigger, but oh so glad we have the van buren drive-in not too far away.

Well Ron, I got on google map and looked at our acreage from there...............it sure is flat. (great idea thanks) Haven't really looked at it for a long time to be honest; looks like we have gained some abandoned vehicles now.

There is much work to be done to the 80 acres no matter what we do with it so we are going to plan a trip there and in the mean while start making thinking of some different plans, one of which is CG. It is surrounded by farms, which is what ours used to be. Right now it’s just sitting.

Who knows what we will do in the end, but we have to do something to it.

I had someone go to the property yesterday and snap a picture of it for us. This is in Portales, NM and the green weeds are just all natural. LOL Seems like we are building a Drive In since we seem to have a car now waiting for the movie.

If..... And when.....

Ah, colleen, you are a busy lady..... We were in this area in November..... We love out of the way campgrounds, so we woukd come..... Very seldom boondock, and never do the sardine cg..... I would love the community room for you to cook your pies and other goodies, and i would come and teach watercolor lessons...... Sounds good to me....., btw, we are finally back home....
