Your post really got me thinking. First about our veterans and how much they sacrifice for us all. Something we very easily take for granted. Do we really think enough about our WW1 and WW2 and other war veterans? How blessed i am that all of those young people fought for me, someone who wasn't even thought of then.

You are back, alive and kicking with new bits and pieces. You are alive and kicking for, what I am sure, are lots of friends and family who cherish every day with you. Glad you have the medical marvels to keep you around longer and your wife Willa to help you out as well.

As I whined about turning 50 (which somehow there has to have been some mistake and not sure where my 40s went) -- I aspire to grow older, even though it is sometimes a scary thought.

Your glass is half full. Thank you for your thought provoking post. I wish you many healthy and happy days! Thank you for making me think about a lot more than just myself.
