I do not think the Comfort Drive is the only thing Newmar has going for it in the past couple of years the used Newmars have made some RVers very happy with their used Newmar's and they do not have the CD.
They have been around for 40 years and the older coach's quality shows as to how they stand up over the long run.

I'm pretty sure that the "Easy Steer" system in the Newell is the same TRW system. Newell has had it for at least 2, if not 3 years.

When I attended Camp Freightliner a couple years ago they said the TRW system could be installed on any RV manufactures chassis now.
