This video is a few years old, but I've not gotten tired of hearing it. At the time the young girls were ages 6-8. Notice the entire arena remains completely silent throughout the song. This is how our anthem should be sung!

Our flag is simply a piece of cloth. Three colors if you count White. It is cloth and it is simple to tear it, burn it, stomp on it with dirty boots and disrespect it in every way thought of by man. It is a piece of cloth. Simple. It also stands for our ''Ideals'', our Beliefs, our Country and our PRIDE. These things you can not burn, disrespect or walk on with dirty boots because this is what we stand for in our freedom. Burn my flag. ''Yes sir, that is your right in this free nation. My only request is that you soak it in high octane gasoline and wrap it around your body first''. I will be glad to strike the match.... You can abuse this piece of cloth but you will NEVER stamp out or burn out what my flag stands for. It stands for the idea of FREEDOM OF MANKIND.
LONG MAY SHE WAVE......
God bless our troops ......

How is it that these young ladies know the words and tune of your national anthem and all the overpaid professionals that sing it at major events have to put themselves before the anthem and customize it beyond recognition.

I have seen you national anthem disgraced by a lot of top name performers and that irks me a Canadian and I have no idea why the USA puts up with this crap.

I think I'll go take a chill pill now too.

Happy Flag day USA.

Thanks neighbors..........that means a lot to me. These so called professionals who butcher the National Anthem are an embarassment
to me.
