So I guess you got your rig?????

You asked a lot of questions when looking and then disappeared........so I figured you were waiting..........well - good for you ! Have fun, be safe and good luck.

I know of no State Parks "just south" of Indy with FHU.

State Parks with FHU in Southern Indiana:

Starve Hollow - South West, Seymour area.
Mounds at Brookville Lake - Deep South East, another Prophets Town type park in my opinion.

Best way to find your park is to hop on the state park web site, look for parks where you want to go and then get on Reserve America for that park and see what they have..........planning is have the fun!

There are 2 parks with fhu on US 46 just east of Nashville, IN (and Brown County State Park): Westward Ho and The Last Resort. We stayed at Last Resort a few weeks ago, small but nice, up on a ridge.

We live out in our old van. Travel all across this land. Drive until the city lights dissolve into a country sky, me and you - hand in hand.

We are going to stay at: http://www.mamagerties.com. After Labor Day. Will travel over the holiday. Hoping to find something on the way to North Carolina. Don't think we will be able to find a destination campground.

We have a mountain top site for four nights. Can't wait to sit and enjoy the views.

Plan to tour the Biltmore and do some scenic driving. Visit some battlegrounds.

Last time for the PT GT as a toad. If all goes as planned we will be towing a Flex.

We are ok......

Watched a small funnel cloud go over but we experienced no strong wind, no hail, hardly any rain.

Less than 2 miles away - - trees down - - 3 miles away I believe a touch down......

Midwest living - - gotta love it!!

Appreciate you asking - thanks.

That's a really nice SP. One of my fav's for IN. Love the pull thru sites surrounded by the pine trees. I learned to properly back our coach in a site over in the prairie section. If Purdue has a home opener this Sat, traffic in the area will be a bear.

Hope you enjoy your stay.

How is it one careless match can start a forest fire but it takes a whole box to start a campfire?

Unfortunately this is only a stopover. We will be on the road by 6 in the morning. This park is definitely on our list to take our grandson to

That's too bad. Yeah, they do have a great, large playground, plenty of paved trails to bike & that farm home to visit. He'd love it.

Did you get one of the sites nestled in the pine trees?
