We have a Cat C9 engine. Has anyone use McAllister Cat?? Any feedback at all??

Thanks ,

I had some work done on my C9 at McAllister's. Typical dealer. Work was fine price was high and they try to sell you on extras. I have since found a local guy for my repairs but he is not looking for new customers.

Thank you. Ken and Cyn. You have already left for BG, the bridge is still under construction.

I haven't been getting notified of every post to this thread. Guess I will need to check in more often. I stopped into Cornerstone today and checked on June 5-6-7, but I will call them in the morning and check on June 12-13-14. I will get 8 sites set aside, all together if possible. Glenn wants site 17 and I will see if that is open. I will have Cornerstone set some sites aside for a week to see what we get.

I will post here tomorrow.

We are putting together a small casual rally at Cornerstone for the 12th-14th of June.
FHU 50 amp $45
FHU 30 amp $40
W/E 30 amp $30

Cornerstone Campground - New Castle, Indiana

Sites available are (see the map link above) : 1, 2, 3, 4, 17, 20, 21,22, and 23. Sites are all gravel with grass. Nine sites total. I imagine more if necessary. We have use of a building if needed Saturday night for a dinner. We have done a bring your own entree to cook on site plus bring a pot luck dish. We have a Weber Baby Q but might need one more grill. Suggestions?

Mini Golf is $2, and paddle boat or kayak rental is $5/hour.

Across the freeway is the New Castle Motorsports Park New Castle Motorsports Park / New Castle Raceway / Kart Racing Track, East of Indianapolis, IN has carts for rent and a great track. Cost is $20 for 10 minutes with a $5 coupon from Cornerstone. You can rent a cart for $60 for an hour...can be broken up in 4-15 min sessions or 3-30 min sessions.
I understand these carts are fast. (This could be FUN)
I have thrown this together, usually the rallies we held in CA were in the planning stages for 6-9 months, so it would be pretty laid back.

Let me know who is in so I can keep track of the sites used.. You may call and reserve the spot. Tell them the site number and use my name.

They will hold these sites for a week (May 1st) maybe more.

Has anyone ever been to Brookville lake camping? Mounds state park and Whitewater state park are some great places to go. They are in the eastern part of the state, almost to Ohio. Brookville lake is 21 miles long,if I recall correctly. Would be really cool to have a RVI2 gathering of folks from Indiana!
We just bought a class a Fleetwood Southwind and have only taken it out once to try it out. We can't wait for warmer weather!! We are EXCITED to get out and go campin!!
Take care everyone, LOVE this site!!

Ok, time to reply......... As I am actually caught in the middle here, right between Richmond and New Castle in fact - I grew up in Hagerstown (1/2 way between both towns)! Been gone a long time, but get back there occasionally.......

Regards!

Anyone going out this weekend? Patty has her second hip replacement on Monday so we will be sidelined for about 5 weeks.

Thought we might sneak away. Even if Patty has to wash up with special soap, change the sheets daily, and stay out of the mud

If you want company let us know, we will try to make it.

Been to that campground. Nice place. We are only 30 miles south of it but I don't have a tv to move our house.
