We've stayed at Yogi before--it's ok, and probably at that time of year not super busy. Fireside Resort in Auburn might be another option, or Pokagon State Park in Angola if you want to be that far north is beautiful.

Enjoy your trip!

I need to write a review in the Campground section.
I have lots of pictures. I'll try to do that tonight if I have the energy.

Spent 12 hours on the MH yesterday climbing up and down ladders replacing a slide out topper and clearance lights. My Fitbit said I climbed 39 flights of stairs!!

We are from the Fort Wayne area. Looking forward to getting together with some fellow hoosiers! To late to make it to Cornerstone but maybe next outing.

Anyone is still welcome. I am sure they have sites open and maybe even some of the sites I had held.

We had a great time at Cornerstone. Doug and Elaine brought their two Danes that made Hannah look small. Charlie and Donna's dog, Mary Pepper put up with Hannah's antics like a real lady. We had a total of 4 RV'S. Not bad for such short notice. Friday night two of us ordered pizza (convenient and good) from the office after driving through a torrential downpour for 30 minutes. Cars and trucks were going 40 mph. Saturday we hung around and told stories waiting for Doug and Elaine to arrive. Dinner was great. Everyone brought their own main course and we each supplied a dish to share. "Not just beans" (as I called it), meatballs, apple slaw, chips, brownies and sugar cookies. I have to say, a brownie on top of a sugar cookie is a great combination. Sunday some went to church and some slept in. We left Doug and Elaine at 2 pm. They were staying another night! Patty and I headed off for a working week, for me, in Iowa and Minnesota.
We missed Glen and his wife......next time for sure!Click image for larger version

Where is everyone?

We returned from a 1100 mile jaunt in the coach to Iowa and Wisconsin. I had business in Eastern Iowa and Minneapolis. Stayed at a very nice campground in Tiffin, Iowa right outside of Iowa City; FW Kent Park. Nicely groomed (even the gravel sites were graded with no wheel marks from the previous rv), well spaced and quiet with gates "locked" at 10:30. On up to La Crosse WI at Goose Island, another county park. Unfortunately it wasn't near as well kept as FW Kent.
FW Kent, Goose Islands camp fire ring as we found it. I filled two trash bags cleaning it out!

Hey Tom and Patty,we too just got back from a camping trip. We went to Charlestown State Park here in Indiana. It was about 500 miles and we actually got 7 mpg and we were towing the car behind the motorhome! We are pretty excited about that, our last rig barely got 5 mpg. We had 11 days off work for our vacation! Sounds like you all had a pretty good time.
I'm going to try posting a picture of a couple of the animals we seen down there. Hopefully it works this time
