Excited to head out on Friday to our local place - White River Campground. Two nights and the weather looks like it will be perfect!

Can't remember if it was from this site or not, but Google mini WSM. It is a conversion to turn a small portable Weber into a smoker. I just finished making mine to take camping. Gonna break it in this weekend with some pulled pork, cooked low and slow!!!

Love this time of year!

Enjoy.......let us know how the pulled pork turns out!!!

We were lucky to grab a FHU site at P-Town this weekend......a friend cancelled and I was lucky to see it become available on a Reserve America.
We head home today - the pup gets me up at 4AM for a walk (he was due) and it was pouring rain...........suppose to stop by 9AM - we are in no hurry to leave. LOL

Hi Jerry. Are you the same Jerry from Kokomo that sold me my ProPride hitch? If so, it didn't take you long to move from TT to 5r to motorhome!

At White River Campground this weekend. Yesterday was wet but it cleared off last evening and dry so far today.

Site 11 in the front section. Nice clearing all the way down to the river from the back of our site. Enjoying a morning campfire and getting ready to fire up the smoker in a little while.

Also included a pic of the bridge being installed over the White River. Gonna be nice hen that is done - access to Koteewi Park and all of the stuff they have over there.

9:45 am - the mini WSM smoker is fired up. 4 lb pork shoulder on the top rack with just salt and pepper. Should be done mid afternoon, I think. . .

Pulled the pork off at 4:00. Snatched a few bites before putting in the microwave to rest. Pretty darn tasty!

Had a very nice 4 nights at Prophetstown last week/weekend. A bit of rain when we arrived Wed, and it broke loose about 10 minutes after we pulled out Sunday morning. In between was just perfect fall camping.
Went to Homecoming which was a lot of fun (except for the game. . .).
Cooked a whole chicken in the mini WSM smoker. Turned out great - the girls ate all of theirs before we even sat down at the table!

Next up for us. . .winterizing.

A couple of random pics - full moon (or at least close to full) rising over the trees. Heard the wolves howl from nearby Wolf Park just a minute after I took this.
Got to ride the Boilermaker Special Friday afternoon - something I never did in six years there as a student. This pic is just before we boarded.
