We also winterized when it was warm and glad we did as the motor home is "Up North" currently having some things added at Newmar - an AGS system.
I also had a Safe-T-Steer added. My motor home drives so much better than our old DP but I wanted something to try and steady the rig in the wind on long drives. After the install, I found the rig "drifting" to the right and was getting ready to call my shop and ask them to double check the alignment they did.
Well - - before I could get that done, I received an email from the folks at Safe-T-Steer asking how the install went and how was the motor home driving?
I mentioned it was drifting to the right - - no problem. It is a simple adjustment! Huh..........So back to the shop for the simple adjustment. (I ain't a mechanic at all!!!)
What great customer service!!!!
We too are getting ready to head to FLA......
Lori - - I know I asked this before but are you thinking of heading to GLAMARAMA. We are and looking forward to it.
Take care everyone - - - - keep in touch!

We used a heater in the coach and a heat lamp in the wetbay the past couple of days since temps dropped into the mid-20's overnight. We will be at Brown County State Park the weekend of Nov 18th, probably the last time out before winter hits and we winterize.

We will be at Oak Grove RV Resort: Oak Grove Rv Resort - Rv Parks, Rv Sites, Park Model Homes
A new park.......30 miles east of Ft Myers. A 3 day drive.......
Although we'd love to see you there, you might be better up in the Panhandle.
We stayed at the KOA in Ozark, AL last year on the way home in March on US 231. It was warm - not sure what the temps are in December. Nice, smaller KOA.
I can tell you a little more about Oak Grove and the surrounding area - - up to you - - just send a PM.
Good luck........

Our Town
The both of us born and raise in Crawfordsville Indiana. I been camping for years. First with my parents in tents and old pop ups and then with the boy scouts. The first DW and I did some camping. but mostly with TT at a campground and it never moved. Met second DW and we both love it (rving) and now retired and wintering in Texas and doing work camping and love life! Merry Christmas to all and Happy New years.

Just moved to Hamilton, Indiana from Dallas, Texas. It’s coooold here!!! I grew up in the south, not used to cold weather and have never seen a frozen lake, guess I’m going to see one now! Tried to use windshield washer on the car a couple of days ago, frozen up, never had that happen before, going to have to change how I do things.
My wife grew up in Muncie, her parents, brothers and sisters still live there. I retired in May and DW wanted to move back to be closer to her elderly parents.
We wish everyone a VERY Merry and safe Christmas!!!
