Generally, there is NO "best" insurance. Insurance is very subjective depending on so many different things that no two people will receive the same quote.

Your best bet, and what I do, is to just start calling or filling out requests to as many different insurance companies you can find. I typically do this about every three years and am always surprised at the huge differences in quotes.

FWIW, I now use GEICO....but maybe next year someone else.

good luck,

Good advice. Get several quotes and compare them to what you need.

I have National Interstate and I've been very happy with them.

National Interstate Ins.

They specialize in REAL Full Timers Ins policies and RVs

They use a Ins. Broker for quotes but you deal directly with them on claims etc.
Used them for 7 yrs we FTd.
Great pricing, coverage(s) ....medical, slip/fall, hotel/motel if 'home' is in for repairs, personal property, custom equipment PLUS

Great claims dept/customer service/follow thru
2 claims both handled quickly, fairly, efficiently (1 very minor/1 MAJOR)
Very little change in premiums

National Interstate Insurance - An Insurance Experience Built Around You.

They have list of Agencies (Brokers)
Couple out of SD (Sioux Falls and Box Elder)

Frustration Deluxe!!!!

I have had GEICO since my Navy days(44 years now). With full timing looming around the corner we are trying to slim down our outlay as much as possible. With this in mind I started with auto insurance. I WAS paying GEICO approx. $2100 every 6 months for my fleet. Hartford quoted $2100 for a year. So I went with Hartford. Called GEICO today to cancel and they pop up with a new rate of $700 every 6 months!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am afraid I may have used some language the young man on the other end of the phone had not experienced before. What a crock!!!!! Now I suspect there was no way he could stick to that $700 once we went thru all the questions and such but still, it really got my goat. If this $700 deal was available now, why was it not before? After 44 years????

I am going with Hartford and not lookin back!!!!!!
