Insurance issues

Just sold our house and now full timing for first time. I've run into some unexpected insurance issues and wonder how others handled this.

I have all of the contents of my house in storage and want to insure it for replacement value. I cant seem to find someone to write a policy for this. How have others handled this?

No one wants to write a policy....because it is in storage....and possibly unsafe and prone to being stolen ? Or........?

Many storage laces offer insurance. Although our unit is only 5x7 it is insured via the storage company, Public Storage. Perhaps it's a state by state issue.
