Iowa's Famous Eagles

Some of us are going to have to find a different animal web cam to watch this winter as Decorah Iowa's famous eagles have chosen their new cameraless nest. It has been said that it is not uncommon to have dual nest with Eagles and that plans are in place to have cameras installed at the second nest which is not far from the original. It was also noted that the Eagles are not camera weary or shy as mating activity was observed in the first nest.

we have bald eagles here in winter time..not much open water. i think they just like all the frozen hit deer around my parts..and im a photographer..they are shy to the camara. and watch ya like a hawk so to say. I even use a gilly suit sometimes. they can see you from the time you get out of the car. i got this picture a couple days ago. of a few eating a hit deer. they flew off. bout a mile away and just hovered in one spot like a kite and watched me till i left. i wish i had video camara to catch that hovering flight. and proof the deer are plentyfull
