October 8, 2009 at 10:15 PM. ( I have utilized advanced snooping methods and a super secret methodology, actually a SWAG, to come up with a magic formula for my prediction.... Now, if history and trends continue......) ;-)

I'm going to close this thread as we get closer to 40,000 to keep last minute guessers from having a significant advantage.

Didn't we do this when we were working on 10,000 members?

All bets are in and the window is closed.

We've done this on several milestones.

Wow, what a tremendous milestone. Congrats to Johnjr36 & Capt Joe!

It sure seems like we are growing quickly around here. At this rate we are going to hit 50,000 in less then a year!

It is such an honor to win such a prestigious contest. I only hope I can live up to the standards expected of me.

Let's see, now.....
For my FIRST brag.......Naw, I won't take advantage of my SWAG abilities.

Actually, if I had not made a mistake in my posting, my SWAG would have been even closer. I had determined the 40,000th member would be signed on Friday but mistakenly put down the 8th instead of the 9th. I had opened the thread a couple of times to post my mistake but did not do so as I did not want it to be thought I was trying to take advantage of the timing on the contest.

Now, on to 50K!!!!!

BTW, what time did Johnjr36 actually sign up? Might need to tweak my 'system' a bit for the next one.

Hope everyone has a great weekend. We are headed over to Henderson Beach State Park in Destin, FL tomorrow for a couple of days.
