Hey, with this many people online here, why not spend some time in a chat room?. I visit at night, but why not a weekend afternoon? I am in iRV2 right now if anyone's interested.

I agree Howie - the chat room seems to only be used on Tuesdays and sits empty the rest of the time. Its a great facility and can help people in difficulty almost immediately or is an opportunity to discuss instantly any issues that may arise with a MH.
Over here, we do say ' ...it's good to talk..'

Hi: Have never used a "chat room" although I've looked at some but no one ever seems to be chatting at the time. Would be kinda fun I think. Looked at iRV2 chat room list and assume you guys meet up in the "Fireside" room. Is this correct? Also, it says something about "emotes" list being available and to type/emotes for that list. Forgive me, but I'm kinda an old fart, self taught computer illiterate and don't know what "emotes" are. I typed "emotes" but nuthin happened. Can any of you computer wizards help out? Thanks. Steve

Emotes (or Emoticons) are those smiley faces and other animations you see in posts. The chat room has a few precanned ones if you click on the face next to the text entry line. If you type in /emotes you will get a list of comments you can enter by simply entering a /xxxxx on the text line. For example /waves will print a smiley that waves and says hello to everyone. There is also a block with a color in it (mine is always green). You can click on that to change the color of your text. This will set you apart from other chatters.

The Fireside Chat is every Wednesday evening at 9:00 PM eastern time. Anyone is welcome.

I believe the iRV2 Chatters is every evening at 8:00. I've been in there 2 or 3 times. Maybe someone who is more familiar can comment. I think if you click on that chat room and enter it, you will get a header text that tells you the times and days of the chat room.

One other thing. You MUST have the latest version of Adobe FLASH player (10.0.12.36) on your PC or the chat rooms will not work. When you enter the chat room, do you get a blank page with a blue border, or are you actually getting into the chat room (you can see a welcome message and see the items I was talking about)? If you just get a blank area with a blue border then you will need to update your FLASHplayer. Adobe Flash Player can be obtained at this link and it is free.

Winnie Chat at 9 PM, or irv2 chatters at 8:30 pm. Be there, or be square.
