It's a tossup of who takes up more of my time. Facebook or IRV2. I think it's pretty equal. Now I will never get anything done...... But I still like to keep in touch with my family and friends and there is no better way than Facebook. Tell it once and everyone knows what's going on. But I also still have to get on here and check up on what everyone is doing in the RV world.

My daughter told me awhile back that this forum was just Facebook for old people and their status updates were all about their motorhomes. I posted it and it got several comments.

I agree, iRV2 is so much more fun than Facebook. Lots of great folks and tons of information.

FB is entirely too intrusive. It has virtually no safety provisions and has been shown to be 'in bed' with the government busy bodies.

Besides, they are not the same in any way. FB is a universal social media spot and covers all facits of life whereas IRV is aimed at one single area of our existence.

JMHO, of course. .

For me there is a definite difference. IRV2 offers me superb info about anything I want to know RV related. A good portion of my posts have been me seeking info and a good percentage of the time I have been given a lot of what i was looking for ... information. I have even been able to help a few others. Now Face Book on the other hand is just a toy for me. I have minimal friends (by comparison) and those who are on my friend list become friends with the understanding that I will pick on them unmercifully. There are a few "friends" that are on my list because my daughter and hubby had a set of twins and I tend to have more time to post pictures of them, plus we do the daycare for all three of our G-kids. Anyway for the most part I basically raise the devil on FB with good friends and family and behave myself here on IRV2. I enjoy both groups equally but for totally different reasons.
