My subscription to AARP will run out next year and was wondering if AMAC might be any better organization for Seniors/Retirees. Any one have any suggestions or comparisons between the two organizations?

IMHO anything else or nothing would be better than AARP.

I belonged for one year right after I turned the minimum age to join. Then I found out their agenda and haven't been a member since. I don't belong to clubs that don't support, and actively work against, the US Constitution.

OK, I'll bite. In what way do you think that describes AARP?

Just another organization pitting us (Americans) versus them (Americans). I'll never join.

What you need to do is some Google research on what the AARP has backed and see if you agree with it. I don't.

First and foremost, they are insurance reseller. That is their business. That's fine but they don't represent themselves that way.

The rest of the discussion is not appropriate for the rules of this forum.

I will never, ever be an AARP member.

As stated, both organizations are insurance companies. Primary goal is selling you an insurance policy.

I'm sure. But then, neither was the original accusation that AARP works against the Constitution.

It all just sounds like more partisan politics to me. Personally, I belong to AARP, buy my health insurance through them, and enjoy many of their discounts.

Wagonmaster2, I don't believe your question can be adequately answered or discussed without getting into an area that is prohibited by forum rules. I suggest that you google both organizations and draw your own conclusions apart from this forum.
