Is anybody staying a Mission Bay RV Resort, San Diego?

The campground is not very good at answering their phones.

I am trying to find out if they are filling all their sites this time of year or if there are currently a lot of empty sites.

Interest in going there the weekend of 1/30

Thanks,

Dan

Just another alternative. We just left the KOA after 5 days. Don't let any previous experience with KOAs turn you off of it; it was great! Lush, big sites, incredibly clean. They also had plenty of sites.

Wow, just looked at the San Diego Metro KOA, it does nook very nice.
I like that it has grass. Which it was a little closer to the city and the bay.

I finally got through to Mission Bay RV Park, they said they usually have sites open and they start getting busy (reservations important) late April.

Thanks for the KOA Tip

Dan

Yes, San Diego KOA is nice. Good location to provide access to city sights.

Yep, we've stayed at the KOA, and Chula Vista RV Resort. Like them both. Chula had a nice fitness center if you're into that. There was another place we were going to check out in Imperial Beach called Bernardo Shores, but I heard a rumor they were sold for condo's. Is that true?

I just remembered another we've stayed at, Santee Lakes. It's a little inland but the sites were nicely sized, and it was fun to rent a paddleboat to feed all the ducks.
