Just South of Saratoga Springs, NY 37F about an hour ago, due to go to the 50s with heavy rain and winds 'prognosticated'. Yesterday it was 27F/49F and a good day to begin the winterizing/cleanup of our 5er. So, for my area, not too bad ---- though I wish we could go a bit further South for the next few months.

South of Buffalo, NY, where it is currently 50 degrees and raining. Still not bad for this late in the season. Only downside is that most of our fall colors will be gone with some fairly heavy winds today.

Mid Michigan and rainy and 52 today.. Went for color ride on Sunday and it was sunny and beautiful out but 53.

Monday morning first frost on car window and it will go in garage shortly and put scraper back in car.

It will continue to cool down and then get downright cold before too long but it is pretty good for this time of year here. Look forward to retirement when I will no longer walk or drive in the white stuff unless I want to .

We left NH (Home) last week and it is 70 here at 10AM in Ailey Ga! headed to the low 80's.

This morning it is 63 and cloudy but by Saturday it will be in the 90's again with breezy and clear skies. They keep saying we are going to get some wet weather this fall and winter but I will believe that when it happens.

We better enjoy it while we can,the weather channel is saying this winter is going to be wetter and colder than normal.

El Niņo is already causing strange and slightly unpredictable aberrations with the weather all along the west coast. That and "global warming" will make an interesting winter in 2015-16.

High 50's daytime, mid 40's overnight. Dull, grey overcast, light rain. Misty early mornings. Typical Anacortes in late fall.

This year snow birding in Texas may not be such a good ideal.
