Lovely New England weather. If you don't like it, wait a couple hours and see what comes next

I mowed my lawn this afternoon, in shorts and a tee shirt. Pulling the mower deck off the tractor and mounting the snowblower this weekend as a preventive measure against actually needing it.

I think last night was the coldest in L.A. since summer. It got down into the 40s. I am pleased. I got tired of the constant heat we had.

Got down to 32 a couple nights ago. Went out and fired up the AquaHot with only one element on and set all three areas to 55, but I think I'll turn it down to 50 and monitor it till it gets colder. I tried turning both elements on but it drew 31 amps and I only have a 30 amp service. I did leave the diesel burner on so it'll come on if the one element can't keep up.

DW is from Duluth, she says there's no reason to even go back there! Flew back there some years ago in Feb. and people were in a hardware store looking for snow blower parts, but I had mowed our yard once by then.

Mowed leaves yesterday, at 70 degrees. Today even warmer, but mother nature gets even. The plow is ready to go. Just love NH.

Warm

Here, in New Holland, PA, I awoke to 61 degrees and am expecting to feel 72 this afternoon.

This certainly is not typical for this time of the year, but I love it. The temperatures are supposed to be about the same for the weekend. I can't believe I will be winterizing on Sunday. Maybe I should put it off for another week.

Bruce
